Drake Confused Half The Time Over Kanye’s Rants – Says He Accepts What He is Going Through
Drake has finally had it with Kanye West. In an hour-long interview with DJ Semtex in Beats 1's OVO Sound Radio, Saturday, he called on Kanye for ranting about him in one of his Saint Pablo shows. He also commented about the "Mercy" rapper's opinion saying that his songs are overplayed. He described Kanye in a few words saying that he does not understand half of what he is saying most of the time.
Drake hits back on Kanye, US Weekly reported. The "Hotline Bling" singer admitted that he was mostly confused about what Kanye is saying especially when he ranted about him in one of his concerts. Kanye commented that the songs of DJ Khaled, Drake as well as other mainstream rap artists were overplayed in radio stations.
The Canadian singer and songwriter said that their relationship was very volatile; recalled that he worked with Kanye on a project one time and then afterwards he bashed him live on stage. He said that he does not take these personally though; he just distances himself from Kanye as much as possible. Perez Hilton also has details on Drake's on air comments about Kanye West. The "One Dance" singer said that he is not sure what Kanye is going through; he accepts it but he does not respect it at all.
Kanye West has just suffered from an emotional breakdown later part of 2016 leading to his hospitalization for days. He cancelled his Saint Pablo tour to get treatment and sources said that it all started after his wife Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint at their Paris apartment.
Meanwhile, Drake has received two Grammy's for "Hotline Bling" but was not around to accept his awards. He claimed that the Recording Academy had no other category to put him in despite "Hotline Bling" not being a rap song and thus he did not appreciate the recognition. Drake claims that the awards felt weird and thus he did not want them.
