‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Update: Possible Shocker Costume Revealed
The friendly superhero neighbor, Spider-Man, is coming back for more action this year with "Spider-Man: Homecoming." The film is the third attempt to reboot the franchise since the 2000s but this time, it is for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film released a trailer last few weeks which was received well by the fans as they're seeing the youngest version of Spider-Man with Tony Stark acting as a mentor. With that, fans also anticipate who is going to be the villains that Peter Parker will meet and one of them is Shocker.
According to Comic Book, a new set of photos reveal an inspiration for the villain Shocker in Spider-Man franchise. Eric Cameron released the photo on his Instagram showing what Shocker costume would be like in the film. It definitely looks like the comic book one but still, as seen in the past films, Marvel has a pretty way to design costumes better in their films. The photo is taken from Saturday's Hasbro event wherein they promoted merchandises, meaning, that the design is exclusively for toys only. Nonetheless, it is still a good costume as it has the yellow quilt patches, hi-tech goggles with dark lenses, and orange vest.
Meanwhile, Slash Film reported that Shocker has been seen in the international trailer of "Spider-Man: Homecoming." In case you don't know, Bokeem Woodbine has been cast to be playing the role but he isn't wearing the costume in the scene rather, he kept the yellow arm sleeves. Further, there is also leaked images of the costume back in September. For those, who don't know Shocker, he is a criminal villain that has talents as inventor and engineer in which he built a gauntlet capable of seismic disruptions. "Spider-Man: throughHomecoming" is set to hit theaters on July 7.
