'Criminal Minds' Season 12 Episode 14 Spoilers: Spencer Reid Under Jeopardy For Hiding a Crime; 'Collision Course' to Unravel Spencer's Unsolved Mystery
"Criminal Minds" Season 12 Episode 14 is gearing up to shift its focus on Spencer Reid. One of the versatile yet genius minds of the BAU is soon going to hit an ordeal after his life is being jeopardized under murder accusation.
Titled as Collision Course, "Criminal Minds" is set to offer a nail-biting sequence shedding light on Spencer's unavoidable dilemma. The BAU team will assist Spencer to get him out of confinement along with the FBI. However, the track changes after FBI is unable to garner ample support.
According to Spoilers Guide, the team will acquire the help of defense attorney Fiona Duncan (Jeananne Goossen). A good acquaintance of Emily Prentiss, the viewers will see a lot of Fiona for the upcoming episodes as she will be serving as Spencer's attorney.
Fiona will be the one "trying to get Spencer out of this mess," says executive producer Erica Messer. Fiona takes the lead in "Criminal Minds" Season 12 Episode 14 while dealing with the murder case and reaches a conclusion in which Spencer owns the murder weapon. The team, however, is not in accordance with her judgment and maintains that there is no way spencer could have killed Nadia Ramos.
Duncan insists Spencer to tell her the truth, otherwise, she would not be able to help him. The released promo shows Spencer in the investigation room and it is speculated that he might be tight-lipped about the case.
"Criminal Minds" Season 12 Episode 14 is a "strong episode" with an "interesting moral dilemma," describes Erica. The episode will eliminate the confusions as to whether Spencer will plead guilty or not.
Spencer's moral side claims that he never would've done that. His agent instincts are pressurizing him not to admit to something he didn't start. Erica continued saying that the episode is one of a kind. Whether Spencer will take his chances of being proved innocent or continue to make a "deal with the devil," only the approaching installment will tell.
However, it is speculated that Spencer might end up in prison doing time for a crime he didn't do. "Criminal Minds" Season 12 Episode 14 is slated to air on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
