Samsung's New Exynos 9 Chipset Performs High Consuming Less Power
Samsung has always been a well-known tech maker for its processing unit for smartphones. The company recently released its next-gen chipset which ensures more advanced performance at lesser power consumption. The newest addition to its Exynos 9 series mobile processor has been dubbed as the Exynos 8895.And as per potential sources, Samsung may be attempting to put on this processor as one of the unique features to be seen on Galaxy S8 lineups.
According to PCWorld, Samsung has made this chipset taking extra measures to implement accountable attribute for higher battery life. The Exynos 8895 processor is said to be first of Samsung's mobile processing units to implement the 10-nanometer FinFET process technology. As per the South Korean tech giant's briefing, this technology will enable this chipset to handle up to 27 percent higher performance while consuming approximately 40 percent less power when compared to earlier 14nm technology.
As per another report by Digital Trends, Samsung's Exynos 8895 mobile chipset will sport 8 cores alongside 64 bit CPU settings. The main CPU will be accompanied by four ARM Cortex-A53 cores for ensuring better stimulation. The processor will use ARM's Mali-G71 GPU for enabling multi-core graphics. The chipset moreover supports recording and playback of videos at a maximum resolution of 4K UHD at about 120 frames-per-second in various newline video formats like HEVC, 3GP, 1080p etc. Moreover, the CPU comes with an improved gigabit LTE modem that allows up to 5 carrier aggregation for enabling best in class connectivity
As per Samsung's latest declaration, the production of the Exynos 9 Series 8895 chipset has begun and it is rolling on heavily. The company is expected to implement it heavily in its range of devices like smartphones, VR headsets, and next generation devices. Samsung is expected to reveal more about Exynos at Mobile World Congress next week.
