'Middle-Earth: Shadow of War' Sequel To 'Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor' To Be Released August 2017 - Details Here!
It was supposed to be for later but US retailer Target has posted the "Middle-earth: Shadow of War" game on their website too soon. The game which is a sequel to the 2014 "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor" will be reportedly be released on August 22 this year.
The leaked listing has since been removed but it did confirm the existence of the sequel much to the excitement of fans. "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" is developed by Monolith Productions.
According to the leaked info via Target, "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" will feature Talion and Celebrimbor. Kotaku adds that the two protagonists from the first game will be making a new ring that will rival the Dark Lord Sauron's. Talion and Celebrimbor will be fighting their enemies with the Nemesis system in place as well.
It has been reported that "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" will be available on PS4 and Xbox One. The leaked Target listing did not indicate a PC release. However, GameSpot reports that "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" had a PC release so it is likely that the sequel will get one too.
The "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" game will both have a standard and Gold Edition. Based on the description from Target, features of the latter will include 4 expansion story packs. This includes The Blade of Galadriel Story, Slaughter Tribe Nemesis, Outlaw Tribe Nemesis and The Desolation of Mordor Story.
The standard edition of "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" is priced at $60. The Gold Edition will come with a Gold War Chest with valued contents at over $125 and will cost $100 for fans of the franchise. Hopefully, more information about the sequel will be released in the future.
