Angelina Jolie is planning to sell Chateau Miraval, the place where she and estranged husband Brad Pitt got married in 2014. The actress claims that the French chateau is cursed and has no plans to take her six children there. Angelina has wanted to sell this property for years but Brad has managed to convince her against it. The selling of Chateau Miraval could be another reason that's keeping the couple from moving on from their horrific divorce.

Chateau Miraval is going on the market, Mail Online reported October last year, a month after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce. The beautiful country estate and vineyard located in the South of France has been the venue of the couple's wedding and has been their family's sanctuary. The property is around 1,200 acres and was purchased at $60 million in 2012. The vineyard grows grapes for a winery that produces prized rose-wines.

The name "Jolie-Pitt" was on the label of each Chateau Miraval bottle now sources say that the new batch will have no names on it. It was also revealed that the couple will divest of all jointly-owned property. Brad Pitt also responded to Angelina Jolie's persistent moves to sell the property saying that he might reconsider if the money from the sale of Chateau Miraval be placed in a trust for the kids.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still locked in an ugly divorce battle especially with the custody of their six children. The "Tomb Raider" star wants sole physical custody of their kids, reported Mirror, while the "Allied" star wants joint custody. Brad was also given visitation privileges accompanied by a therapist. He was able to spend a few overnights with his children lately while Angelina took them to Cambodia for the premiere of her directorial work "First They Killed My Father."

A source close to the once Hollywood power couple said that no matter how Angelina Jolie hates Chateau Miraval, Brad and the kids love it. She vows never to set foot on the property again.
