Microsoft Xbox Scorpio vs. Sony PS4 Pro: The Future Of Gaming
Microsoft took the open opportunity and gave its users a mere glimpse into what their Project Scorpio packs for them. It was revealed that the Project Scorpio, as powerful as the name sounds, represents a machine that is being endorsed by none other than Xbox boss Phil Spencer.
In other words, it's as good as saying that Project Scorpio might just be the most powerful gaming console ever established. However, at the same time, there's Sony's PlayStation 4 device already awaiting the arrival any of the worthy challengers to come and given some competition.
These two gaming consoles stand strongly against each other. On one hand, Sony's PlayStation 4 comes equipped with a 4K HDR console and at the same time. Both the devices are expected to feature the 4K HDR gaming experience.
However, it appears like Sony will be at an advantage because they will be bringing this unique gaming experience a year earlier than Microsoft which is reported to officially introduce its Project Scorpio sometime next year. Microsoft is expected to sport a 6 teraflops graphic processor in XBOX Scorpio, reported TIME.
Moreover, the PlayStation 4 Pro will feature a 4.20 teraflops of graphics processing power which may look under-powered in comparison to what Microsoft is expected to offer. Apart from that, Microsoft recently confirmed that their Project Scorpio will come equipped with octa-processor that is similar to Sony PS4 Pro's octa-core CPU. Another report by Daily Star suggests that Microsoft has claimed that their upcoming Project Scorpio will perhaps be the most powerful gaming console in the history of gaming technology.
One segment that will be explored is the virtual reality technology. Given the age and time we are in, it is expected that the two companies will surely integrate something that satisfies this particular expectation from the fans.
