On Wednesday, the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) announced the nominations for the 4th annual Critics' Choice Television Awards. In the lead with five nods each are CBS' "The Big Bang Theory" and "The Good Wife," FX's "Fargo," Showtime's "Masters of Sex" and HBO's "The Normal Heart."

FX's "The Americans," AMC's "Breaking Bad," Netflix's "Orange Is the New Black" and PBS' "Sherlock" followed with four nominations each.

"The Big Bang Bang" and "Good Wife" are up against "Louie," "Veep," "Orange Is the New Black" and Comedy Central's "Broad City" for this year's best comedy award. Apparently, ABC's smash political drama "Scandal" was snubbed from the BTJA awards. The best drama nominees are "The Americans," "Breaking Bad," "Game of Thrones," "True Detective" and "Masters of Sex."

Three actors scored nominations for two different shows: Walton Goggins, for "Justified" and "Sons of Anarchy," Martin Freeman, for "Sherlock" and "Fargo" and Allison Janney, for "Masters of Sex" and "Mom."

FX beat out the other networks, leading the pack with 19 total nods, thanks to popular shows like "The Americans" and "Fargo." HBO comes in a close second with 18 nods.

The award show will be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer and broadcast at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on June 19 on the CW at 8 p.m. ET.

"As television journalists, BTJA members live and breathe TV, and we're excited to share our top picks from an immensely rich and diverse year of programming," said BTJA President Joey Berlin in a press release. "2014 has been a successful year for cable and broadcast as well as content on platforms such as Netflix and Hulu, and we look forward to celebrating all of these amazing shows and performances on June 19."
