LG Gives An Android Nougat Chance For G4 & V10 By The End Of This Year
LG needs to compete with their neighboring tech companies and what these companies offer, they should eventually have to bargain, or else a considerable amount of market will be lost. At the MWC 2017, LG has no choice but to give their smartphones a touch of Android Nougat this year, after the company has already received negative feedbacks when they aren't planning to do so. The LG G4 and LG V10 which was both released on 2015 have apparently stopped updating their OS which earned consumer criticism because of this action.
According to reports from TechRadar, Nexus 5X has already received its own share of Android Nougat update, comparing it to the LG G4 and LG V10 which was also released in the same year. Now that it has to maintain its customer satisfaction together with its design, great camera, and color rich display, the South Korean multinational conglomerate corporation will have to think twice if it wants to keep loyal LG users. The company has said that the phones are already performing at its best at Android 5.0 and 6.0, although it is already demanding them to push it further to 7.0 updates.
The staggering decisions of LG in updating their flagship mobiles are not a sight to see for loyal LG users as consumers are reliant to every update their phone needs. Now that LG has announced that it is rethinking about these updates, consumers will have to patiently wait before the year ends for this to materialize. Based on reports from BetaNews, LG V10 will have its update in the second half of the year while LG G4 will hopefully get its sweet treat in the third quarter. South Korea will, however, have the first draw of updates while as in the case of North America and Europe, consumers need to cross their fingers.
It is still good news considering that by the time it has finally rolled up on those smartphones, the Android Nougat update is already 10 months old which is still within a year of waiting. Considering that there is still 1.2 percent of Android smartphones having the update until now.
