Google Store Now Lets The Buyer Purchase Devices From Anywhere Across The Globe
Good news for Google fans now they are allowed to buy Google products on Google Store based out of country across the globe. This means users has no longer need to wait for the launch of Google products in their own country to buy them.
According to SlashGear Google have its own online device store but its availability has been quite limited to a handful of countries. And worse for those users who are living outside those countries, there was no catch for the them to even place an order, but this limitation is now changed with the Google allowing anyone to place an order from anywhere in the world. This is just one catch and Google will still only ship those products to supported countries.
As per GadgetsNow However, there's a catch to it. Though it is now possible to buy Google Store products from a different country, the user still won't be able to get the device shipped to their home (if it is a different country). For instance, users in the country like India can purchase Google Home from US Google Store, but they cannot get it shipped to their India address.
But in the case of a user have a relative or a friend staying in the US, it can be delivered there. Buyer can pay with their debit or credit card regardless the country where it was issued. There are also options to track the product shipments, status and cancel the order. The price will, however, vary from place to place.
Also, the buyer needs to pick a country's Google Store before they can purchase any product. Google Store India, for now, has four items listed including Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Chromecast and Chromecast Audio.
While the feature is now official, it remains to be seen how long it will last. Especially if it becomes something that people misuse. In an ideal world, Google will support even more countries later in future, but, for now, the list is still limited countries.
