Even with the holiday season months away, video game creators are busier than ever releasing games for the summer and fall seasons. Here's a list of the most exciting games being released in the upcoming months.

Mario Kart 8 (May 30, Wii U)

This long-awaited racing and adventure game is hitting stores now! The game's goals have been the same since it first debuted on the Super Nintendo: race your go-kart into first place, shoot your enemies with shells and avoid obstacles. But, each release of Mario Kart gets more and more features, racers and objects. This year's version will include ATV's and bikes. Expect a fun, action packed racing experience with a few surprises along the way.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (Nov. 4, XBox 360)

Another Call of Duty? Of course! This version for the XBox 360 will get gamers excited. A very realistic future is the setting, and technology and advanced weaponry is key. Special skills and movements will allow soldiers in Advanced Warfare to better defend themselves. Actor Kevin Spacey will appear in the game, and his role is likely to be more than just a cameo. Look for this game to do excellent in sales when it debuts.

Sniper Elite 3 (July 1, PlayStation 3)

In Sniper Elite 3, you'll experience a variety of different landscapes from mountains to urban cityscapes. You'll use your excellent aim to take shots at important targets and vehicles. Certain shots will be from extremely long distances, so you'll need to be extra precise with your aim. Need a hand with taking out targets? Sniper 3 features a co-op mode.

The Evil Within (Oct. 21, XBox One)

A survival-horror game where you'll need to fend yourself from hideous undead creatures that haunt a crime scene you were investigating. From the Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, this game is sure to be spooky and intense.

RBI 14 (Spring 2014, PS3, PS4, XBox 360, XBox One)

Classic gamplay describes this throwback video game. RBI Baseball first debuted for the original NES system and was a big hit among baseball fans and casual gamers. There's little information available on this title, but if it's anything like the old RBI Baseball games of the past, you'll be able to enjoy easy gameplay, quick games and a more casual baseball experience than traditional baseball simulators. It won't be an arcade version of baseball, but it'll be less of a simulator meaning it won't take much to master the controls or gameplay.
