There's an app out there for every person's liking. Some apps are more useful than others, and some apps are exclusive to only one platform (iOS or Android). Let's take a look at exclusive apps that are available only for one platform.

Dragon Mobile Assistant (Android)

Think of Dragon Mobile Assistant as Android's Siri, but much better. Dragon Mobile Assistant will answer any questions you have, perform tasks you ask it to and completely make your Android experience easier. The free app is better than Google Now and is always running and available for your usage.

Smart IR Remote (Android, $6.99)

This app allows you to control up to 700,000 different devices that are programmed into the app's database. No longer will you need four or five different remotes for your HD-Television. This app will eliminate all of those remotes. Any Android device that has a built-in infrared blaster will be compatible with Smart IR Remote. A low pricetag of $6.99 beats the price of any so-called "universal remote" out there.

Around Me (iOS, Free)

When you're in an unfamiliar city, or even in your own city, Around Me gives you access to all the amenities around you. You'll know where the nearest banks are, where to fill up your car, what restaurants are near you, and much more. 

PCalc Lite (iOS, Free)

This app is much better than the default calculator that Apple offers built into iOS devices. You'll be able to figure out much more complicated equations and really use all features that an advanced calculator has. Don't delete your built in calculator, just move it to a folder for usage later and use PCalc Lite.
