Apple Inc. patrons are getting excited as the Cupertino-based tech company is scheduled to have an event next month. Many believed that during this occasion the much-awaited iMac 2017 will make its first appearance.

According to Korea Portal, Apple Inc. has a possibility to incorporate the AMD Ryzen chipset to iMac 2017. This move will reportedly result to an improved performance of the upcoming Apple desktop. It was also noted there have been reports stating that the AMD Ryzen has been an impressive chip as it did not only break records in terms of CPU performance, but it was also able to surpass the Intel i7.

Aside from that, there has been news stating that the AMD Ryzen is really appropriate for the iMac 2017 as this chipset from the American multinational company can offer great performance using just a small amount of power. It was also worth mentioning that AMD Ryzen is a total must-have since it is affordable compared to the Intel processors.

In numbers, the AMD Ryzen 7 1800x and the 1700x have thermal design points of 95W as associated to 140W for Intel's i7. But then, the actual advantage of the AMD processor is engrossed mostly on the price factor. At just $499, the AMD Ryzen 7 1800x executes better at Intel i7 that is priced at $1,089. This is significantly half the price of the Intel i7 chipsets.

As for the release date, MacWorld speculated that the upcoming iMac 2017 might make its first appearance in April 2017 during a huge Apple event.
