Apple is expected to launch new products at its WWDC event this year. The company is rumoured to introduce a new 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro this year. However, new reports that have recently emerged suggest that the company will be entering limited production with the device.

According to a new report published by Mac Rumors, the Cupertino tech giant is entering a limited production deal with its manufacturing partners. This is specific to the rumoured and upcoming 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro.

The report cites HIS Markit analyst Rhoda Alexander, who in an interview with Forbes said that the exact release date of the 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro also remains unclear. There are chances that the device could be launched at WWDC, or later in spring or even by the end of 2017.

Previously, Apple was expected by Japanese blog Mac Otakara to unveil its new iPad Pro device in March. However, the company chose to unveil a new red coloured iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in an initiative with its PRODUCT RED this month, thereby, postponing the launch date of its much-awaited iPad Pro.

Further reports suggest that the Apple iPad Pro may be unveiled at a special April event in order to mark the inauguration of its new Apple Park campus. The new Apple Park campus is open to employees next month. However, analyst Alexander is slightly hesitant about it. He says that the April launch is "somewhat tentative," and that "the necessary elements are starting to come together," so there are chances that the iPad Pro launch may be delayed until Spring at least.

As far as the specifications of the Apple iPad Pro is concerned, the device is expected to pack a narrow bezel design. Moreover, the company also plans on removing the Home Button on the device. Stay tuned for more updates.
