Heading into the "WWE Raw" after a memorable Payback 2014 PPV in Chicago, Illinois, the card looks stacked as "Raw" hails from Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Rhodes brothers seem to be done as a unit after last night's Payback tag team match against Curtis Axel and Ryback, with Cody Rhodes not only losing his match, but also faith in himself to be able to help Goldust out in the clutch.

After being unable to break past the rough patch the duo has gone through in recent weeks, not able to buy a win no matter how hard they fight, Rhodes stunned his brother, telling him after the match, "brother to brother, you need a better tag team partner than me," before leaving him alone in the ring. Rhodes helped Goldust resurrect his career last year, winning tag team gold in the process, but is this the end of the road for the Rhodes?

Bray Wyatt's attempts to mentally break down John Cena and destroy his legacy fell short at Payback after losing his Last Man Standing match against the former champion. Cena has proven to be quite resilient in these style of matches, this time recruiting the Usos to watch his back against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan while taking care of business with Wyatt, putting him through an equipment case after hitting him with the Attitude Adjustment while fighting by the ramp, then entombing him by throwing another equipment case over the one Wyatt went through to prevent the clan leader from answering the 10-count. Wyatt may be down after Payback, but he is certainly not out, considering his "movement" continues to gain steam within the WWE Universe. Has Cena finally shed himself of the Wyatt scourge so that he can focus on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with Money in the Bank a few short weeks away, or does Wyatt have a new diabolical scheme to "expose" Cena to his "Cenation" as a fraud?

The Shield proved to Evolution that they can adapt to whatever the former champions threw at them, coming away victorious against Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton in their Six-Man Elimination No-Holds-Barred main event, that finished with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose literally standing tall over the WWE COO's battered body after "the Hounds of Justice" eliminated "The Animal" and "The Apex Predator." Will Triple H continue to wage war against The Shield, or will he finally ceded and leave The Shield to their devices?

Kane was suppose to have a WWE World Heavyweight Championship title match against Daniel Bryan at Payback but ended up with a night-off -- or so it seemed. Stephanie McMahon has been able to harness the fury of Kane -- first using him in taking out Bryan and injuring his neck, requiring the surgery -- and then dismantling Kofi Kingston prior to his last-minute Payback match against Bo Dallas. Kingston has not been a "Bo-liever" in the way The Authority has handled Bryan's injury, expressing himself via Twitter about how he feels regarding McMahon's championship ultimatum, and may have paid a steep price Sunday night at Payback after expressing his opinions on the topic. Who will McMahon send "The Devil's Favorite Demon" after as she tries to shut down any dissent in how she does business?

After McMahon addressed Kingston's concerns about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship conundrum -- considering Bryan cannot defend the title while still rehabilitating his neck injury -- she turned her attention on the current champion, who had already rebuffed her demands earlier in the week to relinquish the title. After denying her request, Bryan found himself with a choice: hand in the title to The Authority or have his wife Brie Bella fired. But Bella turned the tables on McMahon, quitting her job rather putting her husband through such a tough choice, and not leaving before slapping McMahon across the face. Consequences are inevitable for laying hands on a McMahon and with Money in the Bank weeks away, Bryan may still lose everything he worked so hard to achieve in the WWE. Will McMahon do what's best for business and strip Bryan of the title or will he find another way to stay ahead of The Authority?
