WWE SmackDown Spoilers, Results for June 6, 2014: Seth Rollins' Evolution Debut, Randy Orton in Action, More
"WWE Friday Night Smackdown" kicked off with Triple H and the newest member of Evolution -- Seth Rollins, who replaced Batista after suddenly ditching his stablemates when the WWE COO would not grant "The Animal" a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship -- addressing the WWE Universe regarding his duplicitous act.
Rollins told the crowd that he had his reasons for turning on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose but that he would not share them with the crowd. The WWE Universe responded with "you sold out" chants before Dolph Ziggler came out, calling out the former Shield member for his actions against his former brothers-in-arm. Triple H seemed amused by Ziggler's insolence and scheduled a match between Ziggler and Rollins. Rollins ended up defeating Ziggler in the opening match of "Smackdown," in his Evolution debut.
The Big Show approached Rollins and Triple H in the backstage area and called Rollins a "sell out" to his face before the WWE COO scheduled Randy Orton against the Big Show in the main event match.
The WWE Tag Team Champions, the Usos, looking to rebound after a tough loss against the Wyatt Family's Erick Rowan and Luke Harper on "Monday Night Raw," beat the team of Ryback and Curtis Axel in a non-title match.
Rusev took down Xavier Woods forcing him to submit to his Accolade finisher.
Intercontinental Champion "Bad News" Wade Barrett defeated Rob Van Dam and Antonio Cesaro in a non-title Triple Threat match.
The lights went out in the building before Bray Wyatt appeared on the TitanTron, his first appearance since losing to John Cena in a Last Man Standing match at Payback, saying that his sister Abigail warned him this would all happen, including his defeat at the hands of the former champion.
Natalya defeated Alicia Fox, who handled the loss by throwing yet another tantrum, destroying the announcers table area, and threatening Lillian Garcia with physical harm.
Bo Dallas made a "Bo-Liever" out of Santino, defeating him in singles competition.
The Big Show defeated Randy Orton by disqualification after Seth Rollins attacked the Big Show, laying him out as he and "The Viper" beat down The Big Show, posing over their handiwork to end the show.
