Latino Supporters May Be the Key to Help Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Presidential Race
Approximately two months ago, Bernie Sander's race in the 2020 US presidential election was predicted to be nearing a fall after his heart attack. At first, his supporters were saddened for his potential resignation in the race but his heart attack did not stand in the way of continuing his game in the elections.
His campaign had experienced some serious uplifting events such as having the highest number of donations coming from the Latino communities in the country compared to his co-Democratic Party presidential candidates.
In the present, Bernie Sanders has improved his position in the 2020 electoral race by acquiring a good amount of Latino supporter from the different places that he visited with his election campaign team regardless of his previous heart attack scare.
According to Ron Brownstein's report, the views of Sander's Hispanic community support as his secret weapon. This was concluded based on multiple polls such as the Fox News survey in Nevada where a majority of the Latinos (by 7 points) stated that they will vote for Sanders rather than Biden. Another survey, the Latino Decisions survey in California said that they prefer Sanders over Biden. Sanders won the poll by nine points. Another survey by the New York Times in Florida had resulted in Sanders winning against Biden. In the OH Predictive Insights Poll conducted in Arizona, both got a tie in the scores.
Sander's strong Latino community support is very evident especially in the results of the survey conducted in the IGS Survey of the University of California in the Golden State. The results of the recently conducted survey included Sanders leading the race among Latino support compared to Biden's results.
Bernie Sanders is joining Andrew Yang, Julian Castro, and Joe Biden as the 2020 presidential candidates in the United States of America who are attaining a high number of non-white campaign supporters than white voters of the United States of America.
In one of Sander's campaign travels from last month, he traveled to California to acquire the support of its citizens through expressing his concerns to the environment and the community. In his speech, he had expressed his idea of shifting from fossil fuels for energy to a much environment-friendly and cleaner source of energy. He also included in his statement that the plan does not only benefits the natural environment but also the members of the community by providing more job opportunities for them.
Those who had introduced Bernie Sanders to the California crowd had included Spanish phrases in their speeches. This a proof of the efforts that the presidential hopeful to acquire Latino support. This is effective because of the support that he is currently having from this community and the recent survey results that are circulating everywhere on the media.
According to an article published last month, he is a favorite of the Latino community. The Latino community is perceived to have a significant impact on the results of the state and the nation's elections in the following year.
