The recent rematch of Andy Ruiz Jr. and Anthony Joshua was concluded in favor of Anthony Joshua allowing him to reacquire the heavyweight title once again.

The rematch occurred in Saudi Arabia last Saturday. Joshua reacquired the WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF titles.

Those who had been criticizing Joshua's defeat during his previous fight with Ruiz in June this year were silenced as Joshua proves them wrong.

According to Andy Ruiz Jr., the fight was a 'Masterful' one.

Joshua continuously threw punches towards British Professional Boxing Personality Andy Ruiz Jr. This had led to Joshua to prevent Ruiz from getting any opportunity to land some punches on him. The first round was won by Joshua.

After the fight was over, both had shown respect for each other by giving a friendly hug. After that, they immediately proceeded with different interviews after their fight.

After the event, Joshua had publicly asked Ruiz if he has plans of retiring after the fight. It was remembered that Anthony Joshua was previously asked the same question after his defeat in a battle in New York.

Ruiz answered by saying his request for a rematch between them. A video is uploaded on multiple sites including YouTube where Ruiz had intervened with Joshua's interview after winning the fight by requesting a third fight between them.

Ruiz had asked the crowd multiple times if they want then (Ruiz and Joshua) to have a third fight. It was very evident during that time that Ruiz plans to make the third fight happen again in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua responded by stating his acceptance of the challenge for the third battle with Ruiz.

In Anthony Joshua's Instagram post, he expressed his happiness for winning another fight (his 23rd victory from a professional fight). He had also said in the social media post of his wish to inspire those people to not lose hope. Saying that 'Clean hearts win'.

Thirty-year-old, Joshua also included in his social media post a message of gratitude for his opponent Andy Ruiz Jr. who had recently defeated him during his first fight in the US grounds in Madison Square Garden in June of this year.

Joshua had said that he is not perfect and had used 'loyalty and strategy' to acquire this winning moment not only for him but for British boxing.

Anthony Joshua had also expressed his gratitude for his team and Andy Ruiz Jr. for another memorable night, not only for them but for history.

For the requested third fight by Andy Ruiz Jr. to Anthony Joshua, Ruiz promises to come back stronger and better as a professional boxer.

Ruiz said to Joshua after their fight that he (Ruiz) may not have prepared exhaustively for their recently ended rematch saying that he had gained extra pounds. But he said that he didn't want to give any more excuses for his loss. He admitted his defeat with Joshua.

Ruiz enthusiastically said that if ever their third fight becomes a reality, he promises to be in better shape.
