"New Era for Latinos": Pete Buttigieg Pledges for Improved Quality of Life for Latinos

Pete Buttigieg, a Democratic Party candidate for the 2020 presidential election, released a list of proposals on Monday. The focus of the proposals is geared towards the "new era for Latinos."

According to a social media post by Buttigieg, he proudly announced a strong and powerful move that provides a clear plan to break the barriers that was built to make the Latino community in the United States of America to feel like they are outsiders in the country despite earning the right to be a full-pledge citizen of the nation. His proposal was named "El Pueblo Unido / A People United: A New Era for Latinos."

The Mayor of Indiana's Latino-centered plan aims to create a way for the undocumented immigrants in the country to attain citizenship in the country. The beneficiaries of this plan are expected to reach an approximate number of 1 million people in the United States.

The plan also aims to guard farmers' and domestic workers' security. His plan includes a review and changing of the policies established under the administration of President Donald Trump.

According to a statement released to the public by Buttigieg, if he wins the 2020 presidential election in the United States, he will stop the discriminating laws established by the administration of Donald Trump. He also aims to break the barriers placed to make Latino immigrants in the country to feel like they are not members of the US nation.

He also aims to set a fund for those unsupported entrepreneurs such as those of Latino origin. He is planning to give a $10 billion fund to provide support to this group of entrepreneurs from unequally treated communities in the country. He also wants to increase the amount that that goes to small business ventures of those belonging to these communities from ten percent to twenty-five percent.

According to Pete Buttigieg, approximately fifty percent of the Latino immigrants in the country are highly likely to establish a business in the country compared to other groups living in the US. Regardless, they are still struggling to acquire sufficient funding for their business ventures.

Also, Pete Buttigieg plans to decrease the total number of people being imprisoned by half of their current total number. He added to his statement that Latinos are expected to be imprisoned more than 3 times compared to Non-Hispanic white people in the US.

He also aims to provide low-cost housing, lower the cost of college education, and change the policies set to make people of color in the country feel like they are not part of the US nation.

Additionally, he plans to initiate plans for disaster preparation campaign for regions near the coastal areas such as Florida and Puerto Rico.

According to Pete Buttigieg, the Latino community in the country is an important group that helps the nation move towards attaining inclusive and progressive standards. He also added in his statement that the Latino populations in the country are the possessors of values that make everyone in the country as a US citizen.
