Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 Rumored to be introduced to the Public on February 2020

Samsung already introduced its first-generation for the Galaxy Fold product line. The company has this tendency of overcoming its rivals in the smartphone industry through rushed creations of new products to offer on the market. This disadvantages the company by producing quality compromised innovations. This can be observed in most of the first versions of their gadget designs.

The Galaxy Fold Phone series is the latest example of its trend in creating failed products on its first generation. When it was first shipped to tech reviewers, it broke within hours of usage. Due to this incident, Samsung held the release date of its Galaxy Fold series for approximately a year. During that time, the company worked on the major defects of their designs. After its release, the product's design was still unpleasant to the sight. On the positive side, the product was more durable compared to its first design.

The second generation of the Samsung Galaxy Fold was recently leaked. It was believed that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will be introduced alongside the Galaxy S20 series in a conference with the press scheduled on the 11th of February this year.

Since it's the year 2020, the next version of its flagship phones will be called Galaxy S20 and not Galaxy S11. This may be the company's move to release a Samsung Galaxy "S11" during the announcement of Apple's iPhone 12.

According to the leak, the second generation of the Galaxy Fold series of Samsung will be featured with a much-improved design compared to its predecessor. The video leakage gives a helpful glimpse into some of the surprises Samsung has in store for consumers.

There was a time when consumers preferred bigger screened smartphones. Apple responded to this by offering a "taller-sized" design. However, the design did not attain much appreciation for the lack of "wideness" in its design. Hence, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus designs were designed based on that demand.

The Galaxy Fold series aims to address that similar demand but in a new and different way. The design of the Galaxy Fold 2 will be different from the previous one. It will be a square-shaped phone that folds with a horizontal pattern. Upon folding, it transforms into a normal-shaped but larger smartphone.

The leak of the Second Generation of the Samsung Galaxy Fold Series was reported to have been leaked in the previous month. The leak revealed multiple photos of the prototype model of the latest version of the Samsung Galaxy Fold Series. Since its leakage on the internet, the Galaxy Fold 2's design had been acquiring many positive feedbacks from the online community.

Waqar Khan, a YouTuber, had created a video to create a proposed design of the Galaxy Fold 2's design based on its leaked photos online. It is not an exact design of the new Galaxy Fold 2 but it offers a sneak peek of the new phone design that Samsung is rumored to announce to the public in the following month.
