Science Has Declared Robert Pattinson as the 'Most Handsome Man in the World'
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or in this case, it comes in the form of a scientific algorithm. There are many forms of beauty, and what we perceive as being beautiful can vary greatly from individual to individual. Nonetheless, when it comes to Hollywood, everyone is beautiful! So maybe some kind of science is in fact needed to determine the most handsome or beautiful stars. Well, that's just what scientists have done, and the winner is...
Robert Pattinson, the upcoming Batman and mega-hit Twilight star, is the most beautiful man in the world according to science, People magazine published on its website.
Dr. Julian De Silva, who is a known celebrity plastic surgeon, posted on her Instagram account that Robert Pattinson, who is now 33 years old, is the most handsome man after she reviewed the physical proportions of the actor. The score of Robert Pattinson stands out when compared to other male celebrities.
De Silva wrote on her Instagram account: "The list was compiled using the latest computerized mapping techniques. Robert Pattinson was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection."
He also added that using the Greek Golden Ratio Beauty Phi, which measures physical perfection, it was discovered that Robert Pattinson's score is accurately 92.15 percent compared to other male celebrities. Following him is Henry Cavill who scored 91.08 percent, third is Bradley Cooper with the same score, and fourth is Brad Pitt who scored 90.51 percent.
De Silva also wrote, "The previous winner George Clooney, the oldest star on the list, slumped to fifth place - largely because of the effect of aging on the 58-year-old had resulted in a loss of volume in the face, giving him a score of 89.91 percent. David Beckham was seventh with a score of 88.96% and the most chiseled chin in the top ten."
Moreover, this is very timely as Pattinson will be playing the lead role in Batman. The upcoming movie is planned to be part of a new trilogy. Robert Pattinson will also work with Andy Serkis, Zoë Kravitz, Peter Sarsgaard, Jeffrey Wright, and Colin Farrell.
It can be recalled that in 2019, Bella Hadid was named as the most beautiful woman in the world which was published in Daily Mail. This time, another name was published in the news outlet and it's Robert Pattinson.
Kendra Schmid, a University professor from the University of Nebraska, explained how scientists adopted the formula in determining the most beautiful man and woman in the world using the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
Schmid said that to get the ratio of beauty, measurements of the face are taken and calculated accurately. Schmid said: "that on a perfect face the length of an ear is equal to the length the nose, and the width of an eye is equal to the distance between the eyes."
This is where Pattinson stands out compared to other male celebrities. She said: "The 33-year-old's eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw, and facial shape were measured against other male celebs and he came closest to the ratio of perfection."
