The last episode of "Money Heist" season 3 may have left fans brokenhearted but the new teaser trailer for Money Heist season 4 brings a glimmer of hope as it hinted about the fate of one of its major characters, Nairobi. At the final moments of the third installment of the hit Netflix series, Nairobi was brutally shot.

As much as fans want to see her survive fromthe fatal shot, there are speculations of her eventual demise, just as Moscow and Berlin did in the first and second installments of the show.

But as the latest teaser trailer for season 4 unveiled, it seems that fans of La Casa de Papel will still see more of Nairobi in the upcoming installment, according to an article by Latin Times. The latest trailer saw all of the cast members from season 3 wearing red overalls. This line-up includes Tokyo (played by Úrsula Corberó), Professor (Álvaro Morte), Lisbon (Itziar Ituño), Rio (Miguel Herrán), Denver (Jaime Lorente), Stockholm (Esther Acebo), Palermo (Rodrigo De la Serna), Helsinki (Darko Peric), Bogotá (Hovik Keuchkerian) and Marsella (Luka Peros), according to Express.

Initially, the lineup did not include Nairobi, then at end of the clip, Nairobi is seen also wearing their iconic outfit slowly turning around following a dramatic pause, looking alive and well.

It can be recalled that towards the end of the third season, the police lured Nairobi towards the window as she gave up her son Axel, knowing she would not be able to give him a good life. Falling for the their trap, she ended up being shot by a sniper in the chest. The last time fans got to see her, she was left bleeding on the floor and fainting in the arms of Helsinki as the bank robbers tried to keep the police at bay.

Whether Nairobi will join the crew remains a mystery, but it's possible that Netflix purposely revealed the character at the end for added suspense. Nairobi's history was not fully shown in season 3, so leaving her until the end of the latest trailer only helps build the hype around what's in store for her next season.

Following the release of the trailer, fans online have been developing theories about Nairobi's fate and one of the most talked about theories point out to Axel's teddy bear saving her life. Nairobi was holding the toy when she got shot. "If you'll remember, when the sniper fired the bullet that struck Nairobi, it hit the bear first," one noted. "After travelling through the bear, the bullet loses velocity and is ultimately lodged in Nairobi's body," he added.
In the new teaser trailer, Berlin (Pedro Alonso) who was supposedly dead also made an appearance. Other returning characters for the new series are expected to include Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) and Arturo Román (Enrique Arce).
So far, there has been no announcement about any new additions to the cast.

"Money Heist" season 4 airs on Netflix on April 3.
