Hope Hicks, seen pictured above with U.S. President Donald J. Trump, is set to return to the White House after resigning nearly two years ago.

Hicks was given the official title "Counselor to the President and Senior Adviser" and will work under President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and White House political director Brian Jack.

Hicks was a close aide to President Trump. She worked on President Trump's 2016 campaign trail. It is expected the timing of her return is related to the president's intensifying re-election campaign.

After resigning from her position in March 2018, Hicks worked for Fox Corporation as executive vice-president and chief communications officer.

The Life of Hope Hicks

Hope Hicks, now 31 years old, was formerly a model for Ralph Lauren. She is also the face of the series of novels Hourglass Adventures.

Hicks was born into a political family. Her mother worked as a legislative aide for a democrat, while her father was chief of staff for a Republican congressman.

Hicks attended Southern Methodist University where she was a lacrosse player. Liz Holmes, one of her coaches, praised her for her intelligence.

She started working for the president's daughter Ivanka Trump as an aide in her fashion brand in 2014. She was tasked with handling PR for Ivanka's fashion line as well as some Trump resorts.

Prior to being Pres. Donald Trump's lead communications for his campaign, Hicks didn't have any experience with politics. GQ called her "a registered but dispassionate Republican."

Hicks was well-liked by her colleagues She earned praises from Sarah Sanders and Stephanie Grisham, among others.

"There is no one more loyal, talented or fun, than Hope." Sarah Sanders said in a tweet.

'White Lies' Controversy

In 2018, Hicks was among the many officials interviewed by Justice Department Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III during his investigation on the allegations of Pres. Trump's 2016 election campaign.

She testified to the committee that she occasionally told "white lies" for Mr. Trump. According to those present for her nine-hour, closed-door testimony, Hicks insisted she did not lie about anything related to the Russian investigation.

During her testimony, Hicks only spoke of working for Pres. Trump before his election. She refused to address any involvement in the drafting of the Russian contract.

She resigned from her position a day after she gave her testimonies.

However, Hicks is expected to start early next month.

Hiring Season

In an announcement made by the White House on Tuesday, former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and former spokesman Sean Spicer were said to be joining the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.

Spicer and Priebus left their White House jobs after President Trump's appointment of Anthony Scaramucci as his communications director.

Priebus is currently the president of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP. He is also a political analyst for CBS News.

Spicer competed on "Dancing with the Stars" last year but lost the competition. He remains a Republican Party loyalist.
