Doing time behind bars has reportedly taught Chris Brown how to respect women, and the R&B singer happily celebrates his freedom with his loved ones.

The 25-year-old is now a changed man indeed, as he has apparently learned how to be respectful towards very important, special women in his life -- his mother Joyce Hawkins and on-and-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran. "Jail was one of those things that has humbled Chris and really just made him understand, point blank, that the world doesn't revolve around him," a source said. "He's not the center of the universe as he so thought and he's a regular person just like everybody else."

"It's also made him respect women more, specifically his mother and Karrueche," the source continued. "Joyce has done nothing but try to give Chris all the best this world offers and she did that, for the most part, single-handedly. Chris now understands that and told his mother just how proud of her she [sic] is."

"He knows he's no longer that man," the source added. "He wishes he could change those circumstances so that they never even happened."

The "Loyal" hitmaker was finally released from jail on Monday, June 2 after serving a shortened sentence. His close friends, who missed him so much and fully supported him throughout, came together to throw him a private party in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 5.

Breezy seemed to be healthy and energetic, sporting a spotted camouflage button-down shirt and a pair of shorts for the exclusive celebration. Tran, who looked flawless in a tight, white mini-dress, led her lover blindfolded through the home and eventually to the guests in backyard. Partygoers, including Big Sean, T-Pain and Amber Rose, all welcomed Brown with cheers. Karrueche Tran also took to her Instagram account to post several photos from the bash, including a snap of her and the "X" singer sharing a romantic kiss.

Chris Brown is still waiting for a trial for an alleged assault, which occurred in Washington D.C. in last October.
