The disease from the deadly virus is called COVID-19. It was believed by scientists that the virus had originated from bats. A confirmation through genetic analyses revealed that the virus has a recent natural origin. Additionally, the fact that it has a low mutation rate.

The test to help detect the virus was made available on January 13. This means that the person who showcases the symptoms of the COVID-19 may present themselves to proper health authorities to get tested for the novel coronavirus.
In China the situation with COVID-19 is improving
With the strong control and isolation procedures being implemented in mainland China, the coronavirus illness situation had been improving. In the past few weeks, the total number of Chinese citizens who are testing positive for the virus have been decreasing.

People recover from the novel coronavirus illness. However, a majority of the people who get infected with the disease recovers.
There are 13 times more recovery cases than the total number of deaths from the COVID-19 cases and the numbers are increasing.
