Much-admired "Fantastic Beasts" lead star, Ezra Miller's video has gone viral after he was shown seemingly choking and throwing a woman, said to be a female fan, to the ground while he was at a Reykjavík bar in Iceland.

A seven-seconder, the video which was widely circulated online on Sunday, asked an unidentified woman if she wanted a fight. Specifically, the actor asked if the girl wanted a fight. Then, he grabbed the woman by her neck, then pushed her down the floor.

Anyone who watched the video would hear a voice from the background saying, "Whoa! Bro! Bro! Bro!" just before the video ended. Reports have it that the original video is no longer deleted from social media.

Relatively, the person who initially uploaded it could not be reached immediately for comment. Nevertheless, the same video was reposted on Sunday by another Twitter user on, and from the time it was reposted, Miller's video has since gone viral.

Was it a joke?

According to BuzzFeed News, it was instantaneously apparent whether what was seen on the video was a real fight or just a joke.

A lot of people from the social media, more particularly the Twitter users, doubted the video's legitimacy and started to make memes about it.

A source at the bar, Prikið Kaffihús, said the particular incident was not a prank. He added, the bar's staff even escorted the actor out, but the enforcers were not called.

Meanwhile, Variety said, the incident took place on Wednesday evening when the actor became angry after some teenage fans, who were said to be "quite pushy," approached them.

The video has yet to be confirmed by Miller. His representative and "Fantastic Beasts" producer Warner Bros. has not replied yet, some demands for statement or remark.

A separate story has it that other than apparently choking the lady, the actor spat on them (the lady and her companions), too.

Also, the TV and movie star showed some scars from recent fights he was involved in. Incidentally, a separate screenshot on Twitter, supposedly the source of the original video, showed the woman in question exposed on her Twitter account that her unidentified friend teasingly aggravated the actor to a brawl. Still, the latter took the supposed joke so seriously.
