These films and TV series are for everyone to hunker down and enjoy.
By the way, did you know Netflix has already acquired the right to Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "One Hundred Years of Solitude" novel?
The adaptation will be one of Netflix's most anticipated releases as it will show the elitism of a high-class family, who is so full of themselves.
But take note, the novel is infamous for its intricate plot, which continues to make literature fans skeptical of an onscreen adaptation.
Anyways, "Money Heist" (La Casa de Papel) has set the bar for Latin shows on Netflix.
For those of you who don't want to dive in the twisting narrative of a crime series, read on to learn more about others with our takes from the giant streaming service.
La Casa de las Flores (The House of Flowers)
The setting is for this satirical telenovela is in Mexico City, wherein the death of a particular character brings up several dreadful consequences.
This may sound cliche for any soap opera but mind you.

The unexpected development of the characters brings to mind perceived awareness.

Vis a Vis (Locked Up)

Our story begins with the character Macarena Ferreiro who was sent to jail because of a fairy-tale romance turned soured with a superior.
What makes you freak out episode after episode is that the main protagonist is naive, trusting, and innocent in an environment that is not right for her.
La Reina del Flow (The Queen of Flow)
Revenge has always been a brilliant plot, and La Reina del Flow is one of those deliciously plotted revenge stories.
Set in Columbia, the impending comeuppance is fueled by the female lead's desire to seek justice against those who have wronged her.
Her revenge, which is surely served cold, began with a singer who has now captured the limelight.
Tiempos de guerra (Morocco: Love in Times of War)
"Teimpos de guerra" is a 13- episode historical drama that will remind you of "Cable Girls and Grand Hotel."
The setting is in the 1920s during the Rif War, wherein nurses are being sent to take care of badly wounded soldiers.
It may be slightly soapy at first, but then you'll be absorbed by the nostalgia factor during those very turbulent times.
