Chicago rapper Chief Keef declared that he is "lookin' for houses" shortly after he was evicted from his luxury suburban Chicago mansion on Tuesday.

According to the New Pittsburgh Courier, Lake County Deputies removed the South Side teen rap star from his rented mansion in Highland Park because he failed to pay rent for four months. The Chicago Tribune reports that the 18-year-old artist owed $30,000 in back payments.

After receiving his walking papers, Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, seemed to downplay the eviction by posting a video on Instagram where he is walking through the home, and a caption where he brags that he was "lookin' for houses."

The owner of the house, Bal Bansal, told the Tribune that he didn't have any problems with Keef as a tenant and his departure was voluntary, however police confirmed it was an eviction.

According to court records, Cozart had been about $30,000 behind in rent payments as of March. Although he reached an agreement to catch up by April 20, he recieved a final eviction order that was filed May 7.

Cozart's Highland Park neighbors have made a number of police complaints about the noise level, traffic, and cars blocking the driveway or on the lawn.

"It's been horrible," neighbor Ken Cooper said. "... They were certainly not good tenants."

His neighbors in Northfield were also upset with him for driving an all-terrain vehicle around the property, and apparently posting a picture holding a gun in what appeared to be the bathroom of the mansion.

Highland Park Deputy City Manager Ghida Neukirch confirmed police have responded to "calls of concern from neighbors that were based on media reports of Chief Keef's history."

Back in March, the rapper was charged in Highland Park with DUI and driving with a suspended license, along with an uninsured motor vehicle.
