Congress ended the week without making any actions for the next coronavirus relief bill.

In a tweet, Trump wrote: "I have directed Steven Mnuchin to get ready to send direct payments ($3,400 for a family of four) to all Americans. Democrats are holding this up!"

Once Mnuchin implements Trump's order, it will help millions of Americans suffering from financial crisis due to the global pandemic.

It can be remembered that Trump first announced that he would sign an executive order if Congress would not act, which he later did to help Americans heavily affected by the economic crisis.

Trump is pushing direct payments for Americans, small business loan funding, state and local government relief aids, and rental assistance payments after Congress failed to agree on the second relief bill.

Trump backed-up his comment on the $3,400 direct payments to American families through a series of talks. He also tried to get more involved in the stimulus payment talks on Friday because both chambers will be very busy for the Republican and Democratic conventions, starting next week.

Initially, Trump made executive orders that extend unemployment benefits, offer protection from eviction, sustain existing student loan aid, and create a payroll tax holiday. However, some criticized the action of the president and questioned its legality.

Trump clarified and told reporters that he did not plan to take unilateral action on these issues, but instead was waiting for the Democrats' approval to approve the policies.

Meanwhile, there are no details yet on when the families of four could receive the $3,400 direct payments. Policies for this stimulus payment are still subject to approval. Once it is good to go, millions of American families will receive direct stimulus payment amounting to $3,400.
