President Donald Trump claimed that he is "delivered for Hispanic Americans more than any other President."

At the event with Latino supporters in Nevada, President Trump claims his importance to the Hispanic Americans. Trump and Democrat Joe Biden intensify efforts to court the Latino voters, which is the critical voting bloc. According to Bloomberg, Trump warned of Mexican "rapists" and "criminals" in a Sunday roundtable at the Treasure Island casino in Las Vegas. The event includes attendees who defended Trump against racist suggestions that dogged the Republican President since his 2016 campaign.

Trump praised Latin Americans and said that they have strong business acumen, as per MSN. He said that from his personal experience, Latino people are excellent businessmen and women.

Later in the evening, President Trump declared at a rally in Henderson, Nevada: "I love the Hispanics," and he's fighting for issues Hispanic voters care about, including lower taxes and school choice.

Donald Trump Holds Campaign Event In Nevada HENDERSON, NEVADA - SEPTEMBER 13: U.S. President Donald Trump speaks during a campaign event at Xtreme Manufacturing on September 13, 2020 in Henderson, Nevada. Trump's visit comes after Nevada Republicans blamed Democratic Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak for blocking other events he had planned in the state.

President Trump and the former Vice President, Joe Biden sought the backing of Latino voters. They knew the voters' group as a crucial and growing portion of the electorate in swing states such as Nevada, Arizona, Florida, Texas, and elsewhere.

During the Democratic primary season, Trump's challenger Biden struggled to attract Latino voters. With Senator Bernie Sanders, an influential Democrat, the party was alarmed about their needs for greater outreach to Latinos.

Latinos praised Trump

The roundtable participants, including a fourth-generation Mexican American, David Mendez, praised Trump for speaking without "filters." Mendez said that he believes everything President Trump was doing was "perfect," but Mendez hoped that Trump would consider helping so-called Dreamers who came to the country illegally as children.

A member of the Las Vegas City Council, Victoria Seaman, also praised Trump for his support for the law enforcement and said that she would work against any efforts to defund the police department in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, Jesus Marquez, a Republican political consultant, expressed concern that Joe Biden may end funding for charter schools like the one Marquez's daughter attends. Marquez said, "She loves her school, we love her school, and it is vital we save our schools and neighborhoods."

On the other hand, the Biden campaign released new Spanish-language ads in Florida on Saturday. The ads criticize President Trump's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In Arizona, Bidens, vice presidential nominee Kama Harris held a virtual roundtable with Latino voters.

On Sunday, the former Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg pledged $100 million of spending in Florida to help Biden. The donation is mainly for better communication of Biden with Hispanic voters.

For the "Hispanic Heritage Month" event and a veterans roundtable, Biden's campaign announced on late Sunday that Biden would travel to Florida on Tuesday

According to the Pew Research Center, there are 3.1 million eligible Latino voters in Florida and 1.2 million Latino voters in Arizona, nearly a quarter of the state's voting population.

President Trump predicted that he would win the demographic as he depicted Biden as influenced by his party's left-wing. The President advocates policies reminiscent of repressive regimes such as those in Cuba and Venezuela. Trump also said that his policies are pushing for constructing a more expansive wall that would benefit him with those who immigrated to the U.S. legally.

"Hispanics like tough people," Trump said. "They like people who are going to produce jobs. They like, and by the way, the Hispanics understand the border better than anybody else."
