Google is helping the world celebrate the 2014 World Cup in Brasil with a new Doodle.

The Doodle looks pretty simple at first, just a yellow and blue soccer ball bouncing, but then it expands into a beautiful landscape of some of Brasil's most famous landmarks.

The letters of Google have tiny arms and legs, evocative of soccer fans cheering on their team in the stands.

Over the years, Google's landing page have shown many different Doodles celebrating historical characters, special holidays and much more.

For the World Cup 2014, Google did more than just a celebratory Doodle. It also took panoramic Street View photographs of all 12 World Cup stadiums, as well as the beautifully painted streets of Brazil, to serve as a kind of virtual tour of the FIFA World Cup 2014 host country. It's also offering lots of detailed maps and services like live traffic updates, transit information, and directions for Brazilians and visitors to the World Cup this year. Check out more information on that here.
