As the House of Congress and Senate are now both back in session, there are now progress on the different relief aids the Trump's administration promised to deliver. On Tuesday, the House of Congress passed legislation that will avert government shutdown beginning the fiscal year.

Traditionally, political candidates go back to their home state one month before the election to focus on their campaign. However, this has changed due to the global pandemic that brought economic and health crises. Their top priority now is to deliver the needs of millions of Americans.

House lawmakers passed the bill with strong bipartisan support of 359-57. The vote was made a day after the Democrats revived their negotiation with the Republicans after it was temporarily stalled due to the farm aid not included in the bill.

The Democrats initially introduced a stopgap bill on Monday, but it did not include farmers' assistance through Commodity Credit Corporation. Trump's administration and the Republican lawmakers want to ensure that farmers, mostly are migrants, will receive the financial aid they need amid the pandemic.

The progress was made on Tuesday as both parties agreed to resolve differences on the farm aid as well as an expiring program created by a coronavirus relief measure earlier this year. That includes free or reduced-cost meals for children who normally received it during in-person classes.

Meanwhile, Republicans and Democrats both clashed in the additional $8 billion nutrition assistance programs that will be distributed as farm aids through the CCC. However, Democrats want to prohibit this aid to fossil fuel refiners and importers.

Moreover, the legislation expands the expiring program providing low-income children with meals to include child care centers impacted by pandemic-related closures and gives states continued flexibility for food stamp requirements for another year.

Additionally, the Senate is more likely to take the bill within this week. This is just one of the relief aids discussed while waiting for the second round of stimulus payments. The legislation filed is to ensure that federal agencies will have enough funds amid the pandemic and during the campaign and election period.

Pres. During his rally in Wisconsin, Trump has announced that his administration will add a $13 billion fund to help farmers who are heavily impacted by the pandemic. He also told an amount of $5 billion fund that will go in the education sector.

As the election nears, there is a growing tension in Congress to pass a new stimulus payment. Some Democratic lawmakers want House Speaker Pelosi to act on it, especially those facing a tight race in their home state.

Meanwhile, both Republicans and Democrats have agreed that they will deliver the stimulus payments that millions of Americans needed before the election. They are just looking for the right time to strike the deal.
