Season 6 of the television series "The Good Wife" promises more drama as Alicia and Peter's marriage will be put on the line, and fans may expect to see more of Matthew Good when the show returns this coming fall. Spoilers released by TV Line via the producer Robert King himself have focused on the dynamics of Alicia and Peter's relationship. The implications of their very public image but with the private understanding between the both of them will provide a tricky situation for the two.

King poses the question of how their relationship will work or if it can work at all, given their agreement of ending the sexual aspect and putting the love on hold while at the same time using each other for what power they could get from doing so. He also said that the actors who play the roles of Peter and Alice Florrick, Chris North and Jules Marguiles, are more than willing to take on the rather complex issue in the upcoming coming season.

Adding to the drama is the return of Deena Lampard played by Megan Ketch. The spoiler chat report said that Deena is "very good" and that she will be back early next year in the continuing plotline of the Chumhum business proposition. King's spoiler suggests that the Chumhum's role will produce some major problems for the future of Florrick-Agos and Lockhart-Gardner.

The role of prosecutor Finn Polmar (played by Matthew Goode) in the State Attorney's office has been promoted to a series regular from a recurring role in the previous seasons. This opens the possibility for setting up a romantic attraction between Alicia and Finn in the future, especially as the connection between the two is undeniable. This would also satisfy the fans that have longed for Alicia to connect with other characters.
