Singer, songwriter, and "American Idol" alum Kelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday.

Like many celebs after they give birth, Clarkson took to Twitter to share the baby news with her 9.65 million followers, and she even revealed the baby name.

The 32 year-old singer tweeted on Saturday:

It seems that Clarkson and her husband are keeping up with the celeb tradition of giving their child a unique name.

Just last week, New York rapper Lil' Kim named her daughter Royal Reign.

What do you think of baby River Rose's name?

Clarkson announced her pregnancy to the world back in November and two months later she revealed that she was expecting a girl, The NY Daily News reports.

Clarkson's desire to be a mother was known even before she was pregnant.

According to Us Weekly, the "Tie It Up" singer gushed about how being a mother was "all that she could talk about."

"More than anything, next I want a baby. Lots of them!" she told Us back in October.

She continued, "My record label is freaking out because all I can talk about now are babies. We're really excited and want to get our family started."

Clarkson also revealed to Us Weekly that she wanted go through a natural birth.

"I'm 31 and we'd like to do it the natural way. My eggs aren't getting any younger!" she added. "So we're really excited."

This is the first child for Clarkson and the third for her talent manager husband, Brandon Blackstock.

According to Us Magazine, Blackstock is Reba McEntire's stepson. Blackstock has daughter Savannah, 11 and son Seth, 7, from a previous marriage.

The couple has yet to release any baby pictures of River, but we will be looking forward to that when the day comes.

Congrats, Kelly and Brandon!
