Angel Investor & Entrepreneur Didi Wong Shares Her Key to Success

Looking at Didi Wong, you can see a successful woman who knows how to balance her work and home life well. She's a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, award-winning speaker, Hollywood Producer, loving wife, and dedicated mother to four children.

What's her secret to success? Didi says, "It all comes down to surrounding yourself with positive people who support you in all you do. You also have to decide to wake up every day and have a great day and transfer gold dust to others whenever you speak."

What is transferring gold dust?

Didi Wong: We have a choice to whom we give our time, energy, and thoughts. And we have a responsibility to influence others positively.

When you find the opportunity to open your mouth and speak words out into the world, it's a duty to transfer gold dust to others. What I mean by gold dust is the transfer of great energy from person to person, no matter the situation. Whenever I come across people, all I want to do is positively impact them and have the greatest impact on their lives as best I can.

I love meeting difficult people, and they are challenges in my eyes. If they're in a bad mood or negative, I love being that positive person in their life. People always tell me they always feel better after they speak with me. It's because my goal is to always positively impact other people.

What does the future hold for you?

Didi Wong: Stepping up in the latter half of my career, I have more connections. More people look to me as a mentor. Now, I have more of a responsibility to make a positive impact and to be a positive influence for my children.

They can hear my conversations with people, they're always listening and receptive, so I want to make sure they know that I'm having a good time and enjoying my work. All of that comes into play. I want them to know that I'm making a difference.

And it's working so far, my son wrote an essay about who inspires you most, and he wrote it about me. He said it's because I teach people how to live a better life. It made me cry, and I was so touched. I keep it framed in my office.

Do you have any parting advice to share?

Didi Wong: As I said earlier, the most important thing is to surround yourself with positive people who support you and care for your beliefs. Always be intentional with who you're giving your time to.

Another piece of advice is to make sure you're bringing positive energy into everything you do. Keep every thought, conversation, and action positive and remove all the negativity in your life.
