Rockstar Games released The "I'm Not a Hipster" Update for Grand Theft Auto Online on Tuesday and will celebrate with the Social Club "I'm Not a Hipster" Event Weekend from Friday through Sunday.

On Tuesday, Rockstar Games released its "post ironic, artisanal, organic, entirely independent, 100 percent re-claimed" trend-themed update.

"This new content update features new retro print tees, skinny jeans, hairstyles, tattoos, animal masks and more as well as additional enhancements to general gameplay to ensure the world is constantly evolving," the game developer announced via its Newswire page.

The update also adds seven new "affordable cars that seem casual on the surface" with great modification potential. New weapons, the Vintage Pistol and Antique Cavalry Dagger, also became available at Ammu-Nation. In addition, Rockstar Games enhanced the online version of Grand Theft Auto V with 12 new Jobs and three new Gang Attacks.

"There are also tons of tweaks and updates made to Grand Theft Auto Online as part of this update," Rockstar Games continued. "...Players are now able to bookmarks Jobs whilst in a Playlist from the Pause menu. Tear Gas now does more damage and lasts longer. ... The level of difficultty is now displayed when pressing D-pad down when playing Missions."

Gamers will also no longer have to pay insurance fees when a broke player who can't pay destroys their car.

The "I'm Not a Hipster" Event Weekend will feature opportunities for gamers to get exclusive vintage t-shirts and increased GTA$ and RP for certain feats.

"[The event] is an entirely unpretentious festival of huge in-game rewards, exclusive unlocks, ways to amass lots of bonus GTA$ and RP, special giveaways, competitions, live-streams and more..." Rockstar Games explained.

In addition, there will be event crate drops, the #imnotahipster Snapmatic Contest and the #imnotahipster Creator Competition, and the live-stream will air on Friday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. EDT.

"We'll be giving away five exclusive GTAV Prize Packs featuring the Los Santos Trucker Hat, Republican Space Rangers & Trevor Philips Industries Tees and the GTAV Zippo Lighter," Rockstar Games added. "Ten runners-up will also score Rockstar Prize Packs of an official t-shirt and stickers."
