Mila Kunis axed her husband Ashton Kutcher's idea of traveling to space nine years ago, contending that it was not a smart family move.

In an interview, the "That '70s Show" actress shared that Kutcher's plan of going to space was brought out to her while they were going out nine years ago, Yahoo! Entertainment noted citing a report.

Mila Kunis Thought Ashton Kutcher Would Die If He Went into Space

In an interview, Mila Kunis shared that Ashton Kutcher told him that he has a ticket to go to space. Kunis recalled that she supported him and told him to "have fun" on the trip.

However, the wind changed for Kunis when the couple had their baby. The "That '70s Show" actress argued that as a father, Kutcher should not continue with his plans, contending that going to space would be an "irresponsible move" given the fact that they have babies.

The actress then blamed her hormones during the incident at that time, adding that she thought Kutcher was going to die if he blasted into space.

Kunis then recollected that she told Kutcher about the spacecraft exploding, fearing that he would leave her and their babies.

It can be recalled that the couple welcomed their daughter Wyatt in 2014 and their son Dimitri in 2016.

Mila Kunis Regrets Not Letting Ashton Kutcher to Blast Off on a Virgin Galactic Flight Into Space

Despite Kunis' decision not to let Kutcher be on a spaceflight during that time, the actress shared that she now regretted her decision back then, Fox News reported.

"The fact that I didn't let him go into space was so selfish of me, but I was a new mom and I was like 'you can't leave me and the babies,'" Kunis noted. The actress also added that she would allow her husband to go into space now, although she thought it was too late.

If Kunis allowed Kutcher at that time, the actor should be included in the list of those who will board Virgin Galactic and have a trip in space. Kutcher was reported to pay at least $200,000 for a seat on Richard Branson's spaceship, right around the time when he was dating Kunis.

In an interview, Kutcher, who was also in "That '70s Show" with Kunis, revealed that he listened to his wife who thinks it was not a family move to go into space. As a result, the actor revealed that he sold back his ticket to Virgin Galactic. Kutcher furthered that he was supposed to be on the next flight into space.

It can be recalled that earlier in July, Richard Branson became the first billionaire to travel into space on board the Virgin Galactic rocket. Branson was known to be joined by five others when they departed from New Mexico.

Fox News noted that Virgin would complete two more test flights before customers can pay a minimum of $250,000 per slot. Meanwhile, the launch of the commercial flights was scheduled for 2022. However, Ashton Kutcher did not confirm if he will be traveling to space at some point.
