Jennifer Aniston Reacts to TikTok Doppelganger, Says It Freaked Her Out
Jennifer Aniston gave her two cents on the video impression of her "Friends" character by her "doppelganger" that went viral on TikTok last month.
TikTok user Lisa Tranel went viral on the social media platform after posting a video lip-synching Aniston's iconic line as Rachel Green of "Friends."
She enacted a scene from a 1997 episode, "The One Where Chandler Can't Remember Which Sister." The post had earned more than 770,400 likes with over 14,500 comments.
A friend has sent the footage to Jennifer Aniston, and she watched it. The actress told InStyle that it freaked her out, adding that Tranel was "not exactly" like her.
Jennifer Aniston said she was impressed by the TikTok sensation. However, she noted that she was only "pretty close" and believed that former "Saturday Night Live" star Vanessa Bayer is the best impersonation of her.
Lisa Tranel was dubbed as Aniston's official doppelganger online for her striking resemblance to the actress. And she has since then posted other videos lip-syncing some of the actress' iconic lines as Rachel, People reported.

She recalled the time when Bayer made an impression of her on "Saturday Night Live." Her first response when she heard that someone made an impression of her was that she was not impression-worthy.
The actress noted that people played it for her, and at first, she thought it was not how she sounded. Then, she realized that there were resemblances.
Aniston, later on, appeared alongside Bayer as Rachel from "Friends" when she guest hosted SNL in 2016, Huffington Post reported.
