Nintendo's daily updates on Super Smash Bros. 4 for the 3DS and Wii U continue, the latest of which are its release date for 3DS this Oct. 3 and the release for Wii U this coming holiday season. Nintendo has yet to announce a specific date for the console version's release.

As anticipated, more new characters and other information was divulged at the E3 Digital Event. This included the revealing of Pac-Man, Mr. Game & Watch, Lady Palutena and the Mii Fighter. Masahiro Sakurai, the director of the series, has been giving daily updates on the games as a new picture has been released each day on the game's official website.

Miis can be brought in, and you can select from the varied play styles and special moves, which the Mii will use in the game. There are three types of Miis you can choose from: Brawler, Swordfighter and Gunner, which use either no weapons like Little Mac, a sword like Link or a firearm like Samus. Each unlocks a different selection of options from the 12 moves available for the Mii characters.

Today's post from Sakurai featured the new Mii Fighters with their varying weapons. Describing the choices shown in the image, Sakurai discussed the weapons that can be used by the Mii Swordfighter. These are Gale Strikes, Shurikens of Lights and the Chakrams. He added that throwing Chakram will let you to choose the direction or even suspend it in midair. "The Chakram is also the only one of these tied to the side special move, so you can use one of the other items consecutively with this one," Sakurai said.

VGBootCamp recorded videos for each of the moves in the moves list for the Super Smash Bros. 4 game on 3DS for most of the currently playable characters.
