No 'Lucifer' Season 7: Fans Disappointed as Series Reach its Final Installment
"Lucifer" season 6 will not be available until September, but fans were disappointed as the upcoming installment in the streaming behemoth would be the final season of the series, meaning, there will be no "Lucifer" season 7.
Despite the retaliation of fans on the last season of the series, "Lucifer" made it clear in June, that the sixth installment of the show would be its "final final" season, as the show took to Twitter and announce the news.
Fans voiced out their second thoughts when the official Twitter account of the show announced that season six will be their final season. One user said sarcastically thanked the show for confirming its final installment. Another user said that the show "has more lives than a cat" hoping for changes in the announcement after a year. Another user said that season six would be perfect to end the show, referencing that "6" was the devil's number.
This show has more lives than a cat, tho, so who knows what will happen in a year... Lol. #Lucifer

Lucifans Arrange a Petition for 'Lucifer' Season 7
The fans of the series arranged a petition that urges the streaming behemoth to produce a seventh installment of the series. As of this writing, the petition gathered at least 3,149 signatures from individuals who wanted more episodes and a season seven of the series.
The organizer of the petition noted that the streaming company previously announced that they would not release the sixth season for the series. The company then announced that it would release the sixth installment.
The sixth installment of the series also marked "Lucifer" being saved twice from cancellation. It can be recalled that the series originally aired in Fox when they canceled its production, paving the way for Netflix to produce its fourth and fifth installment.
Apart from season seven of the series, the petition also mentioned that the cast and crew tried to negotiate for 17 more episodes and reach the series' 100 marks to guarantee syndication. However, the petitioner noted that Netflix only renewed the series for 10 episodes.
SPOILER ALERT: Who's Leaving Lucifer?
Despite the fan's disappointment on the last installment of "Lucifer," the series has many things in store for the fans.
On the other side, there will be casts who will not appear on the upcoming season of the series or at least predicted to not appear on the show. One of them is Detective Dan, as it was seen in the fifth season that Dan died in the hands of Lucifer's evil twin brother, Michael.
However, Kevin Alejandro - played detective Dan in the series - confirmed in May that he would be back in season 6 somehow, but he did not further how it would happen.
Apart from Detective Dan, it can be recalled that speculation of Jimmy Barnes return in "Lucifer" Season 6 surfaced, as promotional photos of a child named "Jimmy" were published. Furthermore, Fansided noted that Brianna Hildebrand would also appear in the upcoming season of the show.
