Kanye West defended his "art" after Kim Kardashian reportedly got furious over his music video that included a clay figure resembling Pete Davidson.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, Kanye posted a photo of a church on fire from his "Eazy" music video and defended his artistic expression, The Daily Mail reported.

"Art is therapy just like this view. Art is protected as freedom of speech. Art inspires and simplifies the world. Art is not a proxy for any ill or harm," Kanye said in his post.

Kanye, who has legally changed his name to Ye, concluded his caption that "any suggestion otherwise about my art is false and mal intended."

Kanye West's Controversial Music Video That Buries Pete Davidson Alive

Just hours after Kim Kardashian was declared legally single on Wednesday, Kanye West posted on Instagram the music video of his new single "Eazy." The video featured a clay figure of Kim's current boyfriend, Pete Davidson, kidnapped, tied up, and buried alive.

In the animated visuals, the rapper is seen pouring liquor over Pete's head while he is buried in the ground. He also planted seeds on him, which sprout into roses.

The "Eazy" video ended with a statement that read: "Everyone lived happily ever after / Except Skete you know who / JK he's fine."

Several people did not like the video. A netizen tweeted that what Kanye is doing is "so disgusting and immature." Another user said Kim "is being publicly stalked and harassed by Kanye."

Despite the "disturbing" content, a source told ET that Pete was not "put off" with the content, claiming that the SNL comedian found the cartoon version of him in the video "hysterical."

The source noted that Pete was "almost flattered by it all because it is so ridiculous to him." The source said the comedian was using this "to grow in more ways than one including for himself and his relationship with Kim."

"[Pete Davisdon] is not threatened by Kanye in any way, shape, or form... He is turning all of the negativity into a positive thing," the insider added.

Kanye has since removed the music video from his Instagram page.

Kim Kardashian 'Furious' Over Kanye West's Pete Davidson Music Video

A source told People on Friday that Kim Kardashian was furious over the music video of her former husband. The insider said that Kim thinks "it's way too violent."

"She's [Kim] really upset with Kanye that he'd do this. She's completely all over of this, and she wants it to stop," the source noted.

The insider added that the SKIMS founder could not understand why Kanye could create "violent" content for everyone to see but would get upset about their daughter North, 8, having a TikTok account.

"It makes no sense to her... She is very angry about the violence and she just feels that it's inappropriate and wrong," the source noted.

Last month, Kanye West took to Instagram to say that his daughter North appeared on TikTok against his will. The rapper even posted a portion of TikTok's terms and conditions that says children must be at least 13 years old when using the platform, and children under 13 years old should be using the version of the app intended for younger users.
