A video that surfaced online revealed how Jada Pinkett Smith reacted after her husband, Will Smith, slapped Chris Rock at Oscars 2022.

According to New York Post, the video went viral on Wednesday night gathered more than 350,000 views since it was released.

The said video was also posted by comedian and actor Michael Rapoport on Wednesday, captioning the footage with: "this is f***ed up."

The video showed Rock saying that Will Smith smacked the s-t out of him as the actor made his way onto his seat. In the video, Jada Pinkett Smith was seen tilting her head forward, laughing while Rock was giving his remarks after Will slapped him in the face.

Pinkett Smith was not the only one seen laughing as the video also recorded the moment when laughter suddenly erupted in the venue when Rock made his remarks after he was slapped. Users online quickly reacted to the video posted by Rapaport on Twitter.

Meanwhile, another user commented on the entirety of the video, saying that they felt the whole thing was gross, and that they were feeling for Chris Rock.

It can be recalled that Will Smith slapped Chris Rock when the comedian made fun of Jada Pinkett Smith with Demi Moore's bald character from the film "G.I. Jane," per the Post.

Following the incident, Chris Rock reportedly cracked off a joke backstage at the Oscars 2022 to downplay what happened.

A source told Vanity Fair that the comedian made fun of Will Smith's other movie, saying that the hit from Muhammad Ali did not leave a scratch.

On Monday, Will Smith apologized to Rock, saying that he was out of line and that he was embarrassed with what he did. The actor also pointed out that his activities do not reflect the man he wants to be.
