Storm Prompts Landslide and Flash Flood in Rio de Janeiro
NDTV noted that storms on Friday triggered flash floods and landslides across the state of Rio de Janeiro, including the state's capital, Rio.
The outlet also mentioned that a photo of several areas, including Belford Roxo and Nova Iguacu, were gravely affected by the flood.
The pictures reportedly showed small alligators swimming through the flooded streets in the suburbs of Belford Roxo. Meanwhile, another photo showed a hospital in Nova Iguacu had a flooded corridor in its Intensive Care Units.
