Khloe Kardashian shared how she truly feels about her ex Tristan Thompson, saying that he's a great dad, but he was not the one for her.

In an interview with ABC News Special on Wednesday, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum reflected on her life with Tristan, E! News reported.

"I still think he's a great guy and a great dad... He's just not the guy for me," Khloe said.

According to People, the Good American mogul said she felt "incredibly safe" with Tristan at the beginning of their relationship, and it felt good at that time.

In the interview, Khloe also recalled the moment when she dealt with Tristan's cheating a day before she gave birth to their daughter, True.

"I remember when he cheated on me right before I gave birth and I was able to still have him in the delivery room," Khloe said, adding that what she thought at that time was her daughter would watch her home videos as "pure and perfect as I was able to make them."

Khloe Kardashian also mentioned the qualities that she and her sisters are looking for in a partner.

"I think at the end of the day, all of us aspire to have blissfulness. We want to feel happy, we want to feel safe," the reality star noted.

A source earlier told People that the Good American founder is currently in a state of blissfulness. The source noted that Khloe is staying positive and that 2022 brings her more happiness than last year.

The insider also revealed that the reality star has "a very little contact" with Tristan Thompson.

"She truly seems over him. She is dating and feeling good about herself," the insider said. But the source did not reveal who is the reality star dating.

"Kim wants Khloe to be happy as well," the insider said.

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson Split

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson split most recently last June after getting back together around the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. They broke up when another cheating rumor arose.

A source has said that Khloe moved on after discovering that Tristan was expecting a baby with Maralee Nichols. They were reportedly still dating when the NBA player hooked up with Maralee in March 2021.

Tristan's cheating history dates back to August 2016, when rumors sparked that the athlete was two-timing with Khloe Kardashian and Jordan Craig.

Craig was then pregnant with Tristan's son and gave birth to the child in December of the same year when Khloe and Tristan were in four months of their relationship.

A video filmed in October 2017 and surfaced in 2018 showed Tristan motorboating while kissing two women at a Washington D.C. hookah lounge.

The NBA player was again caught up in another cheating scandal while dating Khloe in April 2018 when he was spotted with Instagram model Lani Blaire. They were seen in video footage that seemed to be kissing.

In 2019, Jordyn Woods, a family friend of the Jenners and Kardashians, was also caught in a cheating scandal with Tristan. Woods earlier said the NBA star kissed her, but there was no "passion" involved.

In April last year, Instagram model Sydney Chase said she hooked up with Tristan. She claimed that the athlete told her that he was single and no longer in a relationship.

In June of the same year, Tristan was seen entering a bedroom with three women at a Los Angeles party. Tristan and Khloe are seemingly still separated after they called it quits in June, and it seems it will stay that way.

Khloe Kardashian reportedly gave the NBA star an "ultimatum," saying it "was not a good idea for their three-year-old daughter to grow up with a father who was disrespectful to women."
