The ladies of the hit Netflix series "Orange Is the New Black" have been all over the media lately, and star Taylor Schilling continues that trend, opening up even more in the most recent issue of Allure magazine.

While Schilling stuns on the cover of Allure's 2014 July issue, she reveals to the magazine that she hasn't always been so confident in her appearance. "OITNB" has given her freedom to act without worrying about how she looks, she says, which she is very grateful for, as confidence hasn't always been her strong suit.

"It's totally liberating," Schilling tells the magazine. "There's freedom in not having to make it about how my jeans fit or what my boobs look like in a top. All I have to do now is play." The actress says that she doesn't stress much about her appearance anymore, even in her day-to-day life. "I don't feel bound by my face or my body, I don't feel like that's the bggest gift I have to offer the world," the 29-year-old reveals. "I feel like there are more parts of me to offer than that."

The actress, who also stars in films like "The Lucky One" and "Argo," says that growing up she wasn't always this easy going with herself. "It was tough at home, and it was tough at school," Schilling said. "My experience was painful, so painful. There was a period of time I had very short hair, and I had glasses, and I was very tall for my age."

Allure's 2014 July issue will be up for grabs on June 30 with much more on Taylor Schilling. Who else can't wait for Season 3 of "Orange Is the New Black?"
