Amber Heard finally took the stand in Johnny Depp's defamation trial against her and stood by her allegations that her ex-husband had physically abused her.

In her testimony at Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia on Wednesday, Heard talked about the early days of their romance and allegations of physical and sexual abuse.

It also included the moment when she was taking off the actor's boots for him that made Depp chuckle while inside the courtroom.

Depp testified earlier that they had a ritual wherein the "Aquaman" actress would bring him a glass of wine and take off his boots when he came home, the Independent reported.

However, Depp said Heard would get angry if he took off his own shoes. He noted that the actress would tell him: "No, no, no, that's my job. You don't do that. I do that."

On Wednesday, Heard's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft asked her what did she "do to help Johnny with his boots."

"Well, I mean, I suppose that I took off his boots, and it made an impression on him. I was happy to you know, anything I can do to show love," the actress said.

She added that it was "certainly" how she felt about the actor, but he could certainly take off his own boots if he wanted to. After hearing that, Depp laughed, but he kept his head down and never looked at the actress on the witness stand throughout her three-hour testimony.

Amber Heard Recalls Alleged Abuse by Johnny Depp

On Wednesday, Amber Heard said sitting in the courtroom for weeks and reliving "everything" is the most painful and difficult thing she has ever gone through.

According to the actress, the actor was volatile after they started dating. She claimed the violence began with throwing things, destroying the property, and screaming at her, Yahoo! Entertainment reported.

Heard then said it turned physical in 2013. The actress told the court about the first time she was hit. She said she was sitting on the couch, and the two of them were talking, and she asked Depp about the tattoo on his arm.

The tattoo read "Wino Forever," which Depp changed from "Winona Forever." Depp and Winona Ryder previously dated. When Depp told the actress what it said, Heard said she laughed, and the actor slapped her.

"I thought he was joking because it didn't look like it said that at all. And I laughed. It was that simple. I just laughed because I thought he was joking. And he slapped me across the face," Heard noted.

The actress said Depp slapped her again after she laughed and laughed as she thought that "this must be a joke."

"I didn't know what was going on. I just stared at him, kind of laughing still, thinking he was going to start laughing too... to tell me it was a joke, but he didn't. He said, 'You think it's so funny? You think it's funny, b****?'... and he slapped me again," the actress noted.

Heard said Depp was drinking at the time, and she thinks he was also using cocaine. According to Heard, violence became a routine in their relationship by March 2013.

The actress said she did not only experience physical abuse but was also sexually harassed. Heard tearfully told the jury that in May 2013, she and Depp were on vacation at a trailer park in Hicksville, California, near Joshua Tree, and the actor performed a "cavity search" on her.

After Depp accused her of flirting with another woman, the actress said Depp performed a "cavity search" on her, looking for cocaine, The Daily Mail reported.

Heard noted that Depp was looking for something when she went out of the bathroom. She said the actor asked her how long she had been hiding it.

She then asked him what he was talking about, and this was when the alleged sexual violence occurred. Heard said Depp suddenly patted her down, ripped her dress, and grabbed her breasts.

"He's grabbing my breasts. He's touching my thighs. He rips my underwear off, and then he proceeds to do a cavity search. He said he was looking for his cocaine, his coke," the actress noted.

Heard then cried as she said that Depp suddenly shoved his fingers inside her, and she just stood there as she did not know what to do.

"He twisted his fingers around. I didn't stay stop or anything," the actress noted.

Heard also narrated a nearly similar incident in the Bahamas in July 2013, when they went to his private island with Depp's two kids, Lily-Rose and Jack.

The actress said after Depp accused her of making his children aware he was drinking again, the actor slammed her up against the sidewall of the bedroom by her neck.

"And holds me there for a second and tells me he could f**king kill me and that I was an embarrassment, this whole thing was a joke, I made him feel sick," Heard noted.

"I'll never forget. I'm very, very much in love with this whole family now and he's saying I'm embarrassing to him. That stuck more than I could kill you. The names he was calling me. It hurt my feelings," she added.

The actress' testimony has wrapped for the day. Heard will be back on the stand on Thursday.

Johnny Depp - Amber Heard Defamation Trial

Johnny Depp's attorneys rested their case in his defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard on Tuesday. Leading up to Tuesday, the court heard from more than two dozen witnesses called by Depp's legal team, including the actor himself.

Depp and Heard are battling over the 2018 op-ed the actress wrote for the Washington Post, calling herself a domestic violence survivor.

The piece did not mention Depp by name, but the actor claimed he was booted from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise due to the "clear implication" that he was the abuser in his ex-wife's op-ed.

Johnny Depp further alleged that Amber Heard was the actual "perpetrator" of the violent encounters that damaged their relationship. He is asking for $50 million in damages.

On the other hand, Heard has filed a $100 million counterclaim against the actor, who she divorced in 2017, for nuisance.
