Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. are no strangers to the spotlight, being the sons of former President Donald Trump, who is also a real estate mogul.

According to Nicki Swift, at a very young age, the Trump brothers weathered their parent's divorce, along with several other storms, all in the watchful public's eye. But as much as their lives have changed, their brotherly love for one another remains constant.

The Trump brothers recalled that their father was often busy with work while they were growing up, which pushed them to strengthen their relationship as brothers. Eric opened up about Donald Jr. being his mentor in a 2004 interview with New York magazine.

One of the pastimes that the two brothers enjoy is hunting. However, their favorite bonding activity was quickly overshadowed when many cried fouls regarding their unique hobby.

In 2011, the two brothers went on a hunting trip in Zimbabwe. Photos of them smiling ear-to-ear while Eric was holding a dead leopard in his hands surfaced. On the other hand, Donald Jr was holding what appeared to be the severed tail of a dead elephant.

Eric and Donald Jr. made zero apologies when it made headlines, with Donald Jr. saying on Twitter that he was not going to apologize because "some eco nuts want me 2." He added that it was not wasteful as the villagers were happy with the meat, which they do not often get to eat.

The Trump brothers were also no stranger to the struggles of being children of divorce. The two reportedly had their own way of dealing with the end of their parents' marriage. Eric earlier admitted that his feelings about the divorce were different, possibly due to his age.

In a 2004 interview with New York Magazine, he said that what was going on with his parents' marriage when he was young was the least of his concern since he was the "youngest," but he remembered friends bringing him newspaper articles, which he described as "worse."

Meanwhile, his older brother said that he rebelled in the middle of the split and even accused his father of not loving him or his siblings. The 12-year-old Donald Jr. reportedly shouted at his father that he only loves his money.

Eric Trump's Marriage

As the two got older, the Trump brothers also made a family of their own. Eric Trump was working for the Trump Organization when he met his wife, Lara, who was a producer at "Inside Edition" in 2008, according to Insider.

In an interview on "Fox & Friends in 2016," Lara said she was "immediately intrigued" when she spotted Eric from across the room.

Eric proposed to Lara in 2013 at the Trump Seven Springs estate in Bedford, New York, with a diamond platinum ring from the now-closed down Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry collection.

The following year, they got married at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. Donald Jr. was the best man at his brother's wedding.

Ivanka Trump's husband, Jared Kushner, officiated the wedding. In March 2017, Eric and Lara announced that they were expecting their first child. Lara gave birth to a boy they named Eric Luke Trump in September 2017.

The couple welcomed their second child in August 2019 and named her Carolina Dorothy Trump. Last November, the pair wished each other a happy seventh anniversary on Instagram.

"Happy Anniversary @laraleatrump... I am incredibly proud of the family we have created, the way we have both developed and all that we have accomplished and stood for in these incredible 7 years. Thank you for being an incredible Wife, Mother and Friend," Eric wrote.

In a post of her own, Lara paid tribute to Eric and said: "Seven years, 2 kids, 2 Presidential campaigns, 1 additional dog, 2 broken wrists, 1 broken collarbone, 1 major move and we're just getting started... Happy Anniversary to my partner in it all, @erictrump."

Donald Trump Jr.'s Marriage and Relationship

Donald Trump Jr. was formerly married to Vanessa Trump. However, they finalized their divorce in late 2018 based on a joint statement they issued in early 2019.

South China Morning Post reported that Vanessa is a former model and grew up on the Upper East Side of New York City. She allegedly dated a gang member in her younger years and made the headlines in 1998 when she was reported to be dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

Donald Jr. and Vanessa shared five children, namely Donald John III, Kai Madison, Tristan Milos, Chloe Sophia, and Spencer Frederick.

Currently, Donald Jr. is engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host. Kimberly was earlier married to furniture giant heir Eric Villency and California Governor Gavin Newsom, who was mayor of San Francisco at the time.

According to Vanity Fair, Donald Jr. and Kimberly kept the engagement a secret from the public until she made a post on Instagram wishing him a happy birthday, with the ring on her finger in a 2020 New Year's event at Mar-a-Lago. Currently, there is still no word on when the wedding will be.
