Logan Paul Will Sue Floyd Mayweather Over Remaining Unpaid Fight Purse
Logan Paul will take his beef with Floyd Mayweather to the court if the promoter will not give him the remaining unpaid money following their bout last year.
The YouTube star-turned boxer revealed to TMZ Sports that he is still fighting to get what he deserves and wants to seek the help of the law with their issue.
Logan underscored that Mayweather still owed him a few million. However, Logan Paul did not mention the exact amount the promoter owes him.
"We're taking this one to court. See you in the courtroom. Congrats on going to prison, Floyd," Logan Paul said.
It was not the first time that Logan Paul announced that he would take his issue with Mayweather to court. In February, the YouTube star emphasized that he would take legal action if he did not get his cut.
Paul also referred to Mayweather as a "rat" after he doubled down on his alleged case, and he has claimed multiple times that Mayweather has yet to pay his fight purse, per Mirror.
It was not clear when Logan Paul will bring his money issues with Floyd Mayweather to court.
Jake Paul Thinks Floyd Mayweather Can't Pay His Brother, Logan Paul
Logan Paul's statement came weeks after The Youtuber's brother, Jake Paul, expressed what he thinks about the money owed by Mayweather.
In an interview with FightHubTV, Jake confirmed that his brother has not yet received his full payment, according to Mirror in a separate report.
"Floyd Mayweather is broke. That's what a lot of people don't realize. He gets these big cheques and doesn't pay taxes on them," Jake Paul claimed in the interview.
The YouTube star, who also turned into a boxer, also claimed that Floyd owes a lot of money to a lot of people that he knows.
"Logan is deep down on that list. So, I don't know if Logan will ever get paid. It's kind of f***** up," Jake Paul underscored.
It can be recalled that Logan Paul shared the boxing ring with Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match last June.
According to reports, Logan is expected to have earned around $15 million from the match. However, the influencer claimed that Mayweather has not yet paid him in full.
Floyd Mayweather Explains Why He Has Not Paid Logan Paul in Full
Floyd Mayweather revealed why he has not yet paid Logan Paul in full following their bout last year.
According to Mayweather, the money from pay-per-view events takes a while to be released, emphasizing that "nothing comes right away," according to Clutch Points.
"I'm still collecting checks from fights seven or eight years ago. They just hate when the table is turned. Be happy with the biggest payday you ever got in your life," Mayweather noted.
Floyd Mayweather has not yet issued another statement regarding Logan Paul's lawsuit threats this week.
