‘American Idol’ Cast, Season & Show 2014: J-Lo, Keith Urban, Harry Connick, Jr., and Ryan Seacrest to Return [Watch]
Last week, Jennifer Lopez sat down with Wendy Williams to discuss a plethora of topics including whether she would return as a judge on American Idol.
"I know that you only have until the end of June to decide if you're gonna sign on for another season [of American Idol] or not?" Wendy asked Jennifer.
At the time, Lopez remained coy with her answer to Wendy and replied, "I want to go back, and they have asked all three of us [judges] back but we are all trying to figure out the schedule."
Lopez then explained her hesitancy with rejoining the "AI" cast was because of her hectic promotional schedule for her new album, "AKA," her upcoming tour, and her family life.
She continued, "You know I have [AKA] to promote, touring, and then there's the kids. There's so many things that go into making this decision so I have to figure out some stuff out first."

Despite last week's uncertainty, Lopez seems to have "figured it out" as she is now confirmed to be appearing on "American Idol" along with last season's "AI" judges.
Entertainment Weekly reports that despite the low TV ratings for the FOX singing competition this year, Idol will continue in 2015 with Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr., along with host Ryan Seacrest.
This is reportedly the first time since Season 11 that the judging panel has remained the same for a consecutive amount of seasons.
David Hill, senior executive vice president of 21st Century Fox, expressed his excitement with having the judges back on the show.
"Jennifer, Keith, Harry, and Ryan are the very best in the business at what they do, and I'm thrilled that they are returning to American Idol for another season," said Hill to EW.
He continued, "Each brings unique qualities and expertise to the team, but they all share the same passion for helping undiscovered singers achieve the American dream."
RollingStone reports that auditions for the next season of American Idol will begin June 25th in New Orleans and make its way to areas including Nashville, San Francisco and Uniondale, New York.
However, the show's bicoastal bus tour begins on July 9th in Portland, Maine and Portland, Oregon. There will also be a way for online talent to submit auditions through social media, using the hashtag #TheNextIdol.
