House Republicans Making Plans for Joe Biden's Impeachment After Midterm Elections
House Republicans are already reported to be preparing their plans of impeachment for U.S. President Joe Biden as they try to seize control of the House after the midterm elections.
Several House Republicans have already launched impeachment articles in the current House of Representatives against Biden, accusing him of committing "high crimes," according to The Hill report.
The said "high crimes" were regarding the president's approach to several issues including border protection, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from Afghanistan.
Rep. Bob Good noted that he has consistently said that Biden should be impeached for "intentionally opening their border and making Americans less safe." He added that the House of Representatives has a "duty to hold the president accountable" when it comes to any failures in his Constitutional responsibilities.
Good then said that a new "Republican majority" should be eyed to "aggressively" do an oversight starting on the first day.

U.S. President Joe Biden Impeachment
In January, Republican Sen. Ted Cruz warned that Republicans will impeach Biden as "political payback" if they seized back control of the House this upcoming midterm election. Cruz was noted in a Texas Tribune report saying that there is a chance of Biden's impeachment, whether it is "justified or not."
The Republican senator said that the democrats "weaponized impeachment," referring to House Democrats voting to impeach former U.S. President Donald Trump twice. The Senate lacked the votes needed to convict Trump at the time in both cases.
Cruz noted at the time that the impeachment process should not be used as a political weapon, adding that it was not how impeachment is supposed to work.
Cruz said that there were several grounds to consider for Biden's impeachment, but noted that the most compelling was his border decision.
Meanwhile, impeachment for Biden administration officials had been filed, with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene filing impeachment articles against Attorney General Merrick Garland, as reported by The Hill.
Midterm Elections 2022
NBC News noted that numerous data points have signified that Republican's possibility of winning the elections are "dimming."
NBC poll in August noted that "persuadable voters in the midterm election" are leaning towards the Democrats. It accounts for about 25 percent of respondents.
The NBC poll in March found that Republicans had a 17-point "enthusiasm" advantage over Democrats. However, in August, the GOP advantage fell to two points.
In July, CBS News tracked that Republicans started the 2022 campaign with a lead in the race for the House, with 230 seats to 205 seats for Democrats.
In addition, CBS news noted that the impact of inflation and the economy is giving the GOP some votes and may affect Democratic turnout.
Republicans are on top of those who say that inflation is "very important" when it comes to their vote. It is also the same for voters who feel "a lot" of impact from higher food and gas prices.
